First experience trying out The Royal Barbershop. Making an appointment was easy, which was a relief, because it was close to Christmas.
I had a haircut and beard trim with Emerson. He asked me a few basic questions and then proceeded to give me an excellent and relaxing service. I closed my eyes and let him go to work. I’m not exaggerating when I say I almost fell asleep.
I like the straight razor for clean lines, and the hot towels are calming and refreshing.
Paid for the service and tip when I made the appointment, so once he was done, I was on my way.
Would not hesitate to recommend this shop. Convenient location and good street parking options. Thanks!
Th Royal Barbershop is, bar none, the best place around to get your haircut! I’ve been coming here for four years now ever since Tiago, the owner opened up his first shop near my house in 2019. It is always a pleasure to come here as Tiago and all of his staff are very personable and kind. I highly recommended you come down and check out the Royal Barbershop if you haven’t already!
I have been going to Royal for the last 18 months and have been so very pleased with the quality of service and friendliness of the team and my barber, Yuri. Royal is clean, their online booking system makes scheduling easy, and their shop is easy to reach with parking nearby. After nearly 20 years of seeing the same barber in Boston, I reluctantly had to change venues after moving to a new neighborhood because I couldn’t book appointments at times I could make. I was a little worried to switch at first, but the Royal team and Yuri have absolutely earned my continued loyalty as a customer. I highly recommend them, but I do selfishly hope they don’t get too booked up with all this much-deserved praise because I don’t want to compete for their attention. It is very nice having a trusted barber.

I have had a lot of difficulty replacing my former barber (who took me 3 years to find) since they moved away. After quite a few failed attempts finding an alternative to the over hyped, over priced other places; I believe Tiago is going to be my go to guy.
